Hope and promise

For a counter to my earlier vexations post, here's a list of a few things I find promising and hopeful.

Spheral cells.
I'm not sure what advantage Spheral cells would have over a conventional thin-film solution.

If Tugrik is lurking, maybe he would have some insights?

Mainly, they should be cheaper and less environmentally nasty to create.

spheral solar sells
easy! the flat cells are ineffieciant and reflect more light than they should.. a spikey surface or a bubbley surface wouldnt bounce so much of it away.. like. @_@ it would bounce off the side of one of the bubbles and onto another bubble. if one bubble doesnt get it all... the next one will! n.n efficiancy!
