So, I've put in the money to reserve a blue Toyota Prius hybrid-electric car with all the feeps. In three to four months from now, I should be able to pretend that I'm a green-leaning eco-nut while pissing off everyone by using the carpool lane and parking in EV parking spots at Fry's.

Some days I wonder if I'm a bad person. :)

Or some equivalent.

Sometimes I wonder too. *Jealous*

Best of all, I'm pretty sure the car's power plant can charge an axially-mounted Death Ray with no problems at all =^.^=. Mount it right, and the engine block can even give you radiation shielding...

You can use the carpool lane and EV parks with a hybrid in CA?

I've lusted after the Prius for a while, but would probably have to settle for a 2nd hand Generation 2 model (1st US model) at best.

It's a recent thing that Ahnold signed into law a few months back. Mind you, I still have to file for the permits.

You can't stop here! It's bat country!

You're not a bad person, because the Prius is OMGNEET. We've got one. We got one before they became insanely popular. It's cool, it's a lot easier to drive than the old Volvo, and not only because it's automatic, and... yeah.

It's actually a bit eerie to drive, with the (sort of) continously variable transmission, and with how the car sometimes goes nearly silent as the engine shuts down. Very feepy neat, though.

The tripling of my gas milage (over that of my old car) will be very nice, too.

You English-speaking people are teh crazy. I see "tripling of gas milage" and "nice" and I go O.o! until I remember you crazy people don't see how many gallons it takes to go a mile, but how many miles you get in a gallon. Crazy, crazy.

Heh, last I drove ours (dad doesn't let me practise driving with the Chrystler Voyager, for some reason...), I ended up with my brother's friend's mother stuck behind me at around 30km/h almost the whole way to where we were going. It was creepy at the time, but hilarious when we ran into her once we got where we were going.

Of course it's evil, that's why it's so much fun!</a>

Now of course, I'm going to be envisioning Revar driving a car with a bunch of cute fuzzly feep purring in the passenger and back seats. *purrr*

Sadly feep perches weren't an available option for this model year.

Suction-cup feep plushes?

Thank you for not adding yet another silver car to the already-over-argenté driving landscape of Californicate.
And thank you for getting the BLUE car! I love blue! Not enough blue cars on the road!

Believe it or not, eventhough I lust after things like the Cadillac SRX, the Lamborghini Cheetah/LM002,
the Chevy SSR (in purple), the Ferrari Maranello, various Aston-Martins, and the new Ford Mustang (black),
I also lust after the Toyota Prius, in blue. It's just neat! And it works! And its bodywork is fascinating.
The way the outline of the car is a continuous, unbroken line from front bumper to rear deck...
And it looks futuristic, modern, urban mobility-like.
I want one.
But I will need to have the rails of the driver's seat moved back, to let the seat go back further,
because my right knee smacks into the small shifter knob...

"No Zrath, I don't think they had Kzinti in mind when they built her."
