Scicalc wankery

Here's the Safari3 screenshot of pretty much the final version of my iPhone Scientific Calculator app. The aesthetic changes I've made since the previous screenshot are:

  • Gave the "LCD" display a more LCDish color.
  • Added drop shadows under all LCD text.
  • Added a shadow around the border of the LCD.
  • Rounded the corners of the LCD.
  • LCD number display auto-scales to fit the LCD.
  • Button text is made to look inset into the buttons.
  • Button text is larger.
  • Help key added.
  • Added various function keys, such as the % key.
  • Inv key replaced by Fn key that cycles through function key sets.
  • Each function key set is given a different color, so you can tell at a glance which set is up.

The app, as always, is at http://scicalc.belfry.com/

I read about this in Tug's journal.
Congratulations, this is a nifty bit of coding!
Were I to actually own an iPhone, I would certainly put that on it.
Being a Kzin, I like things with big buttons for my big paws.
